2024 (Graduate): Recorded the best ever season in Maverick history with partner Hahni Johnson… Went 30-2 overall to smash the school-record for single season wins… Was named as a AVCA Small College Beach Championship All-American with Johnson after going 4-0 with two other unfinished matches while leading the Mavs to a third place team finish in the post-season tournament… She and Johnson were also named as the AVCA/CBVB.com National Pair of the Week for that effort… Won her final 12 matches… Had an impressive 26-2 dual meet mark, including a 25-2 record in the No. 1 position of the Maverick lineup… Received the AVCA Top Flight Award with Johnson as one of just two Maverick pairs in program history to have done so… Won the CMU vs. Trinidad State Pairs Tournament..
Before CMU:. Joined the Maverick program as a mid-year addition from the working world, where she was a software engineer, a role is she continuing part-time while also pursuing an MBA at CMU... Played four seasons of high-level NCAA Division I basketball at the University of Iowa… Played in 118 games for the Hawkeyes from 2016-20… Earned three Academic All-Big Ten honors during her career… Was a regular starter as a senior during the 2019-20 season, starting 29 of 30 games for that year’s team that went 23-7 overall and 14-4 in Big Ten Conference play before the NCAA tournament was canceled in the early stages of the COVID pandemic… Led that year’s squad with 253 rebounds while also scoring 191 points… Played in all 36 games of the Hawkeyes’ 29-7 2018-19 campaign, which saw them win the Big Ten Tournament title before advancing to the Regional Finals (Elite 8) and just one win short of a Final Four appearance… Also played in 31 games while making five starts as a sophomore in 2017-18, a year in which the Hawkeyes went 25-8 and qualify for the NCAA Tournament… Played in 21 games as a freshman in 2016-17, helping the team to a 21-14 record and WNIT Quarterfinal appearance… Finished her career with 506 rebounds, 391 points, 145 assists, 83 blocks and 75 steals while shooting 48.0 percent from the field… Shot at a .550 clip in her senior campaign.
Prep: Was a decorated volleyball and basketball player at Linn-Mar High School in Marion, Iowa, next her hometown of Cedar Rapids… Played there as a junior and senior after playing as a freshman and sophomore at Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School… Earned three all-state and all-metro honors in volleyball… Was a 2016 McDonald’s All-America nominee and the Gazette Female Athlete of the Year in 2016… Earned first team all-state honors in basketball from the Iowa Newspaper Association in 2016 after picking up second team honors in 2014 and 2015… Was a 3-time first team all-metro pick… Scored 1,343 points while grabbing 780 rebounds throughout her prep career.
