Jaylyn Duran

Former Maverick guard Jaylyn Duran is in her second season on the coaching staff.

Duran played at CMU from 2015-2019, averaging 12.6 points for her career, including 18.6 points as a senior, when she was the RMAC Player of the Year and a WBCA honorable mention All-America selection. She also earned second team All-America honors from the D2CCA.

Duran was a two-time All-RMAC player, making the second team as a junior and first team as a senior. She finished her career with 1,352 points, eighth in program history, and is first all-time in 3-point field goals made with 265.

A native of Pueblo, Duran spent last season as an assistant coach with CSU Pueblo. At Colorado Mesa, Duran works with the shooting guards, individual player development and assists head coach Taylor Wagner and assistant Hannah Pollart in all aspects of the program.

She graduated from Colorado Mesa with a degree in Kinesiology/Fitness & Health Promotion.
