2024 (Freshman): Earned CTCA West All-Region Freshman honors as the top Division II freshman at the West National Qualifier in Springfield, Missouri… Also earned CTCA All-Region honors as the second overall finisher in the Division at that race, while leading the team to a second place team finish in the D-II standings… Placed 28
th overall, earning a spot in the top wave of the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon Championships… Finished 100
th overall and 30
th amongst Division II finishers at the national meet… Started her collegiate career by taking 21
st overall and second on the team at the Southern Hills Triathlon… Was fifth on the team’ at the Desert’s Edge Triathlon, which only included Mavericks in the collegiate wave… Was fourth on the team and 45
th overall at the Battle in the Fort.
Prep: 2024 graduate of Amador Valley High School… Represented the United States at the 2022 (November) World Triathlon Age-Group Championships in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates… Took the silver medal in the 15-19 Super Sprint event with a time of 37:15… Had earlier helped the U.S. win the Mixed 15-19 relay title at the 2022 Sprint & Relay Championships in Montreal, Canada on June 26… Had finished 11
th in the individual race the day prior (June 25) with a time of 1:13.00… Took second overall and won the 15-19 age group at the 2023 Draft-Legal Sprint National Championships in Irving, Texas.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Aspires to become a coach… Daughter of Rozel Tupaz and Millard Canceran… Has one younger sibling— Yuri.
