As a Sophomore (2022-23): Raced four times, claiming three top-5 finishes before earning Honorable Mention CTCA All-America honors with an 18
th place finish at the national championships… Had also earned all-region honors after taking fifth at the West Regional Qualifier… Was the Mavs’ No. 2 finisher at both the Southern Hills and Desert’s Edge Triathlon placing fifth and second overall in those respective races… Named to the CTCA/USA Triathlon Scholar All-American unit for the second straight year.
As a Freshman (2021-22): Competed in five races… Earned CTCA Honorable Mention All-America honors with a 19
th place finish as CMU’s third finisher at the national championships… Was also recognized as CTCA’s all-region freshman as the top Division II freshman at the West Regional Qualifier… Named as a CTCA Scholar All-American... Placed 22
nd overall and sixth amongst Division II triathletes… Received Started the year with a fifth place overall finish (4
th amongst collegiate athletes) at the Southern Hills Triathlon… Was 11
th as the team’s No. 2 runner at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede cross country meet… Finished 54
th at the East Regional Qualifier... Led the Maverick contingent at the Clearmont Draft Legal Challenge NCAA race in March, 2022, placing 20th.
Prep: Is a 2021 graduate of Logos International School… Finished 25
th at the 2021 Spanish National Duathlon Junior Championships… Took second at the 2021 Madrid Triathlon Junior Championships.
Personal: Is majoring in mechanical engineering technology… Daughter of Maria Jesus and Carlos… Has two siblings— Elena & Carlota… Enjoys reading and playing the oboe… Also enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities… Also enjoys designing and building things and aspires for a career related to automation.
