2020-21: Named a CTCA/USA Triathlon Scholar All-American for the second straight year.

As a Freshman (2019): Competed in all four meets, during an award-winning season… Recorded two wins, three podiums and finished in the top-5 at all four… Was the Mavs’ top finisher at all four… Started her collegiate career by winning the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon West Regional Qualifier in 1:06.04 to lead the Mavs to the team title… Finished third at the East Regional Qualifier (1:02.24) before taking fifth at the National Championships (1:09.26)… Also won the Southern Utah Triathlon community event in Hurricane (1:12.59)… Was named as the CTCA West Region Freshman of the Year… Also received CTCA All-Region honors for both the West and East as a top three finisher… Named to the CTCA Scholar All-America Team..

High School: Attended Grace Christian School...Won the Alaska state title in the 800 meters with a PR time of 2:25.23 as a senior with the Grace Christian HS Grizzlies, coached by Terra Edwards… Also finished second in both the 1600 and 3200 meters with PR times of 5:18.04 and 11:36.75… Placed fourth at both the Region III and State Championships during her senior cross country campaign (2018)… Won the 2018 state title at the Alaska Triathlon… Also won her age group at the 2019 Lava Man triathlon and was the runner-up in the Gold Nugget Triathlon.

Personal: Was recently married, changing her last name to Fritzel... Is majoring in graphic design with aspirations of bringing more graphic design home to Alaska… Enjoys all types of art and being part of Ratio Christi on campus… Daughter of Monique and Todd Jackson… Has three younger sisters— Diana, Laura and Katie... Chose CMU because of the sports, location and graphic design program.
