2024 (Freshman): Was one of three Mavericks to race in all five races of the fall season… Placed 32^nd at the Southern Hills Triathlon before taking fourth on the team at the Desert’s Edge Triathlon, which only included Mavericks in the collegiate wave… Went on to place 55^th at the Battle in the Fort in Fort Worth, Texas before taking 62^nd at the West National Qualifier as the team’s sixth finisher at the regional… Capped the year by placing 95^th overall and 27^th amongst Division II triathletes as the team’s fifth finisher at the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships.

Prep: Graduated with honors from Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Laguna… Ranked fifth in the 2024 Mexican Triathlon rankings for the Women’s 18-24 age group after placing fifth in the Merida event and seventh in Matazlan… Is also tied for ninth in the sprint rankings.

Personal: Is majoring in biochemistry… Aspires to become a professional athlete as well as becoming a successful biochemist in the cosmetic industry… Parents’ names are Mariana & José.. Has a younger sister— Abby.

Why I Chose CMU: “CMU offered a great combination of athletics and academics, but was mainly hyped by the triathlon team and the great chemistry they displayed through social media!”
