As a Redshirt Junior (2021): Competed in three races, finishing 32nd at the Southern Hills Triathlon in Hot Springs, South Dakota before taking 22nd in the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede cross country meet… Was 45th at the West Regional Qualifier triathlon as one of the three Maverick individuals beyond the team-scoring contingent.
As a Junior (2020-21): Named a CTCA/USA Triathlon Scholar All-American... Finished ninth overall and fifth on the team at the Black Hills State Dual on Apr. 25 posting a time of 1:24.12.
As a Sophomore (2019): Competed in all four of the Mavs’ meets, earning two top ten finishes… Placed seventh (1:12.54) at the season-opening Women’s Collegiate Triathlon West Regional Qualifier… Was the Mavs’ fifth finisher, helping the Mavs defend their team title… Moved up to the team’s No. 3 finisher at the next two meets… Placed 14th at the East Regional Qualifier before taking third at the Southern Utah Triathlon, a community event in Hurricane, Utah… Finished 20th at the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships as the team’s sixth finisher.
As a Freshman (2018): CTCA Scholar All-American...Team placed first at the West Regional Meet and second at the national meet... Placed 19th at the West Regional Race in Longmont in a time of 1:09:47 and finished 14th at the National Meet in Tempe, Arizona with a time of 1:15:09... Also finished third at the Desert's Edge Triathlon and fourth in her age division at the Pumpkinman Triathlon.
High School: Competed with Z3 High Performance and coach Jenny Weber...Competed six years at Junior/Youth Elite Draft Legal Nationals... Graduated from Johnston High School in 2018.
Personal: Majoring in nursing and Spanish...Daughter of Jeff and Allison Batkiewicz...Has one sibling, Lindsey, a triathlete at East Tennessee State...Aspires to excel in the field of nursing and Spanish while having fun.... Enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
