2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in five races throughout the year… Recorded four top-10 finishes, taking  a season-best sixth at the Sun Devil Classic, held in conjunction with the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships… Also took seventh at both the Desert’s Edge Triathlon and Bearatahlon… Finished tenth as the second Maverick finisher at the Black Hills State Tri-Fest during the spring.

Prep: 2022 graduate of Wasatch High School… Coached by Shawn Marsing.

Personal: Is majoring in psychology… Wants to become a sports psychologist and help with the mental health of athletes… Daughter of Adam and Julie Hicken… Has four siblings— Paige, Abigaile, Gabriel and Grace… Enjoys water and snow skiing, camping and hiking.
