Career Aspirations: "My career aspirations are rooted in both my passion for sports and my curiosity about the human mind and body. As a triathlete and former track and field athlete, I’ve dedicated most of my life to training and competing, and I’m determined to reach the elite level in my sport. At the same time, I’m also deeply interested in fields like psychology, biology, business, and medicine — areas that allow me to understand people better, help others, and make a meaningful impact. I want a career that not only inspires me but also offers long-term stability. Studying in the USA is part of that vision because it gives me the chance to grow as both an athlete and a student, while gaining valuable international experience. My goal is to build a future where I can push my physical and intellectual limits, live with purpose, and constantly challenge myself to become better.

Hobbies/Interests: "Outside of my academic and athletic goals, I have a range of hobbies that reflect who I am. Triathlon is not just a sport for me — it’s a lifestyle that I’m fully dedicated to, combining my love for swimming, cycling, and running. Before triathlon, I spent years in track and field and started swimming at a very young age, so sports have always been a central part of my life. I’m also deeply curious about the world and enjoy learning, especially in areas like psychology, biology, business, and medicine. Exploring how people think, how the body works, and how different systems connect is something I find genuinely exciting. In addition, I’ve always enjoyed planning and organizing — whether it’s setting goals, researching new opportunities, or figuring out my next steps, I find a sense of calm and motivation in having a clear direction.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose Colorado Mesa University because it aligns perfectly with both my athletic and academic goals. As a passionate triathlete with a background in swimming, track and field, and years of dedication to sports, I was looking for a university that supports student-athletes at a high level. CMU stood out to me because of its excellent athletic facilities, strong triathlon and track programs, and a supportive environment where I can grow as a competitive athlete."

"Beyond sports, I’m also deeply interested in studying business. CMU offers a range of academic programs that match these interests, allowing me to explore my passions while staying focused on my athletic career. Coming from Estonia and aiming to study abroad, CMU felt like the right fit — a place where I can develop holistically, both as an athlete and a student, with the support and opportunities I need to succeed."
