Career Honors

• Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete (2023 & 2025)

2025 (As a Freshman): Named to the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete list… Played in 14 games, while making ten starts… Nine of those were as the catcher… Also had one start at the designated player position… Hit in the No. 7, 8 and 9 spots of the lineup… Recorded a .269 batting average (7-26)… Scored eight runs while driving in three… Drew four walks to finish with a .387 on-base percentage… Had a .308 slugging percentage with one double… Had a .980 fielding percentage with just one error on 49 total chances… Caught two runners stealing in 12 attempts.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Riverdale Ridge High School… Was a first team all-state and all-conference selection for the Ray Garza coached Ravens, who were in their first year with a softball program… Also earned First Team Academic All-State honors… Was a CHSAA Academic All-State First Team and first team honorable mention all-conference pick as a junior, when playing for Stargate High School.

Club: Played for Coach Scott Sakamoto and the Colorado Starts… Helped the team to a third place finish at the PGF National Tournament.

Personal: Is majoring in psychology… Would like to coach softball at the collegiate level… Daughter of Jose and Morgan Medina… Has one younger sibling— Aven… Enjoys camping, hiking, 4-wheeling, lifting and watching Disney movies.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because it had the perfect combination of sports and academics. I am also close enough to home for my family to be a part of my softball journey.”
