2020 (Redshirt Sophomore): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Played in 14 games, making six starts during the COVID-19 shortened season... Made five starts at second base and one as the designated player... Went 6-for-27 (.222) at the plate... Scored eight runs while driving in four... Hit one double and one home run... Had a pair of 2-hit games.
2019 (Sophomore): Played in 15 games, while making seven starts as the team's designated player in the early portion of the season... Was later granted a NCAA medical hardship, preserving her season of eligibility... Went 10-for-27 to hit .370 at the plate... Hit four home runs while driving in 13... Scored eight runs and hit two doubles to finish with an impressive .889 slugging percentage... Also had a .452 on-base percentage... HIt two of her home runs in a key series against Dixie State (Mar. 2-3)... Had three RBIs in the in the final game of that weekend to match her season-high, set earlier (Feb. 9) against Hawai'i Pacific... Earned RMACÂ All-Academic Honor Roll status.
2018 (Freshman): Played in 30 games, mostly as a pinch-runner and reserve shortstop... Made one start at that position... Scored 11 runs... Went 1-for-11 (.091) at the plate... Stole one base.
Prep: 4-year letter-winner for the Taylorsville HS Warriors, coached by Rich Kaelin... Was a 3-time all-region pick... Earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior in 2017... Was the 2016-17 MVP... Earned academic all-region honors.
Club: Played for the Utah Bullets and Coach Brandon Dorney... Won two state titles and the 2015 Western National Championship.
Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology... Daughter of Jody and Dave Gerber... Brother Tevita plays baseball at Dixie State... Aspires to go on to medical school and become a surgical physician... Enjoys hiking, photography and tennis.
Why I Chose CMU: "I loved the campus and small town feel of everything. After coming to a camp, I could picture myself going to school here and playing for this program."
