As a Redshirt Sophomore (2023): Redshirt season.

As a Sophomore (2022): Spent the 2021-22 academic year and 2022 season at Santiago Canyon College in Orange, California… Posted a  27-11 record in 44 appearances and 41 starts as the work-horse for the Hawks… Earned Second Team All-Orange Empire Conference honors… Finished third in the state of California for wins while leading her team to a 33-14 record and a spot in the CCCAA State Tournament after winning SoCal Regional playoff and super regional series… Threw 31 complete games and 261 1/3  innings… Posted a 2.44 ERA and while allowing just 11 home runs… Recorded 81 strikeouts while walking just 32.

As a Freshman (2021): Threw 10 2/3 innings in four appearances and two starts during early season action with the Bushnell University Beacons in Eugene, Oregon… Recorded 13 strikeouts and .292 opposing batting average.

Prep: 2020 graduate of Foothill High School… Was a varsity letter winner… Named as a scholar athlete and honors academic achievement award winner… Had her senior season cut short due to COVID-19.

Personal: Is majoring in business administration… Wants to go on to obtain an MBA with a possible emphasis in human resources… After graduation, wants to work in the corporate world for a few years before going to law school so she can eventually become a corporate attorney… Daughter of Barry and Leanne Turner…Has one older sibling— Daley… Likes to go to the movies, travel, paint, hike, go to the beach and play softball.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because the university has so much to offer me and has a fantastic softball program that I am excited to be a part of. I am excited for my future opportunities at Colorado Mesa, being a Mav, experiencing new things and exploring Colorado as my new home for the next couple of years! “
