As a Redshirt Junior (2022): Had an impressive season in the circle, posting a 13-4 record and 1.99 ERA… Was also named to the First Team RMAC All-Academic squad… Was third in the RMAC for ERA and second for opposing batting average (.210)… Recorded a RMAC-high called third strikes while fanning 112 total hitters, sixth most in the conference… Was tied for sixth in the RMAC for wins… Allowed just 88 hits and 29 walks in 112 1/3 inning while posting an impressive 1.04 WHIP… Mad 24 appearances, including 21 starts… Completed 14 starts while recording five shutouts… Had a pair of 10-strikeout games, reaching that mark on Mar. 12 against Fort Lewis and on Apr. 16 at UCCS in an 8-inning complete game victory.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2021): Went 6-1 with a 4.64 ERA… Made 19 appearances and six starts as the pitching staff’s third pitcher… Completed two games and was a part of three combined shutouts… Recorded 34 strikeouts while allowing 62 hits and just four home runs in 54 1/3 innings of work… Recorded two saves… Ranked tenth in the RMAC with her .282 opposing batting average… Had a season-high seven strikeouts in a Apr. 10 start and 13-3 win at Black Hills State (Apr. 10), her second complete game... Allowed just five hits and one earned run in a complete game win over Mines (Mar. 7)… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season.
As a Sophomore (2020): Made 14 appearances, including 10 starts as the Mavs' No. 1 pitcher during the COVID-19 shortened season... Posted an 8-2 record and a 2.03 ERA, which was second best in the RMAC... Was ranked third in wins... Threw 69 innings while completing seven games... Had one complete game shutout and another combined shutout... Allowed just 26 runs, 20 of which were earned... Surrendered 66 hits and 18 walks while striking out 43... Named as the RMAC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 18 after going 2-1 with a 0.59 ERA during the previous weekend's Catcus Classic... Threw her shutout on Mar. 8 in a 8-0 win over Mines... Had a career-high nine strikeouts on Feb. 23 against Chadron State... Named to RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman (2019): Made 12 appearances and three starts inside the circle... Posted a 2.47 ERA and a 1-1 record... Tossed a 5-hit shutout against Texas-Permian Basin (Feb. 17)... Recorded 15 strikeouts while allowing just 15 hits in 22 2/3 innings... Registered a 3-inning save on Mar. 9 against the Colorado School of Mines.
Prep: Was a 4-time 5A Jefferson County All-Conference selection… Was a 3-time 5A All-State selection… Had 468 strikeouts in 325.2 innings pitched… Played for the Arvada West HS Wildcats and Coach Brenna Millikan… Was also an academic all-state pick.
Personal: Is majoring in psychology and counseling… Aspires to be a lawyer or a psychologist… Daughter of Darrin and Sherri Mauser… Siblings are Melissa and Mason… Loves to paint and draw as well as exploring new hiking areas with her dogs.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the friendly environment, competitive sports teams and excellent education. The very first time I stepped on campus I knew it was the place that I wanted to spend my four years of college.”
