2025 (As a Junior): Picked up First Team All-RMAC honors in the outfield… Was also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll and to the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar List… Hit .324 with 59 hits in 182 at bats… Was second on the team in hits… Was also tied for second on the team with 13 doubles… Led the squad with four triples… Had a .440 slugging percentage and .387 on-base percentage… Was walked 18 times… Stole a team-leading ten bases while being caught just once… Scored 34 runs while driving in 24… Committed just one error defensively to record a .986 fielding percentage… Started all 57 of the Mavs’ games… Was in left field for 55 of those games… Also had two starts at third base… Hit second in the lineup 31 times while also hitting fourth through eighth semi-regularly… Recorded 19 multiple-hit games, including four 3-hit efforts… Had five multiple-RBI games, including a season-high four in the second game of an Mar. 16 doubleheader at Adams State… Went 4-for-8 with two doubles and two triples and seven RBI in that twin-bill… Had a 10-game hitting streak from Feb. 16-Mar. 2.

2024 (As a Sophomore): Played in 45 games, making 35 starts in a utility role… Started 20 times in left field, 12 at third base and three as the designated player… Hit a solid .340 (36-106) with nine home runs, 15 extra-base hits (6 doubles) and 28 RBIs… Slugged .651 with 69 total bases and recorded a .386 on-base percentage and 1.037 OPS… Scored 34 runs and stole seven bases on ten attempts… Also drew six walks… Had a .953 fielding percentage, recording 40 putouts and 21 assists while committing just three errors… Had nine multiple-hit games, including a 4-for-6, 5 RBI game in the second half of the a Apr. 22 doubleheader at Regis… Also hit two home runs while driving in five runs in the first game of that doubleheader en route to RMAC Player of the Week honors on Apr. 23… Recorded nine hits while driving in 11 runs in the series against the Rangers, part of a season-best 8-game hitting streak… Started six postseason games, including all four of the Mavs’ NCAA Tournament contests… Went 2-for-3 with a home run in a May 10 elimination game win over St. Mary’s.

2023 (As a Freshman): Played in 46 games as the Mavs’ top freshman, making 31 starts at the second and third base positions… Started 19 times at third and a dozen times at second… Hit .297 (30-101) with nine extra-base hits while recording 14 RBIs… Had eight doubles and a home run, pushing her to a .406 slugging percentage… Scored 19 runs and stole eight bases on ten attempts… Drew six walks while recording a .333 on-base percentage… Had seven multiple-hit games, recording three, including a pair of doubles in a Mar. 11 game at New Mexico Highlands.

Prep: 2022 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School… Was a scholar-athlete award winner for the Nighthawks… Also played tennis and basketball in high school.

Club: Played for the Athletics Jendro Premier 18u squad and Coach Brian Jendro.

Personal: Is majoring in liberal arts… Has a goal to become an elementary school teacher and have her own classroom and help students learn... Has fond memories of helping her mom set up her classroom and wants to follow in her footsteps... Daughter of Mike and Vanessa Westmoreland… Has an older brother (Dylan) and two younger sisters (Madelynn and Elly)… Says she is extremely competitive… Enjoys hanging out and laughing with friend and when not doing school work or softball, likes to sleep.

Why I Chose CMU: “Coach Lovato and Coach Hinojosa reached out to me during the Colorado Sparkler. After the tournament, Coach Lovato gave me a tour of the campus. She was kind and informative. I was excited when she invited me to be part of such a competitive softball program in such a beautiful city. I have always dreamed of playing college softball and am excited to be a Maverick.”
