2022: Played in 26 games and made 10 starts...Finished the season batting .319 with a double, a triple and a home run...Had a season-high three hits at Colorado Christian on April 29....Lone home run of the season came in the NCAA Super Region Tournament against Angelo State on May 28...Scored a season-high four runs during the NCAA Region Tournament against St. Edward's on May 21 in Grand Junction.

2021: Played in 28 games and made 18 starts between shortstop and second base...Batted .321 with three doubles and a triple...Had five multi-hit games...Went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored against nationally ranked MSU Denver on April 10.

2020: Played in and started 12 games...Batted .343 with two doubles...Played in game one against nationally ranked Southern New Hampshire and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one driven in on February 14...Recorded his first collegiate hit in the game...In game three of the same series, he recorded three hits and scored two runs to help the Mavericks to the three-game sweep.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for the Brawley Wildcats under head coach Pedro Carranza. His sophomore year, Gonzalez won a CIF Championship. His junior year he led the Imperial Valley, in batting average at .482 and won player of the year. In his Senior year, Gonzalez hit for .380 and won MVP. In his Junior and Senior year he earned 1^st team All Valley.

PERSONAL: Jonathan is majoring in Business Administration and looking to minor in Accounting. Jonathan has two sisters Makayla and Alexia and two step sisters Joss and Savy. His mother is Rosemarie Masad and his father is Joel Gonzalez. In his free time, John likes to workout, hang out with friends and spend time with his family.
