2024 (As a Freshman): Played in nine games as a pinch hitter and reserve second baseman… Drew two walks in 11 plate appearances, but went 0-for-9 in official at bats… Scored a run at UCCS (Mar. 11)… Recorded three putouts and three assists while committing just one error defensively.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Sunny Hills High School… Was a First Team All-Freeway League selection for the Lancers and Coach Elise Laws… Named as the team’s most coachable player.

Club: Played for Wildcats Del Campo coached by Ralph Del Campo… Was named an all-American player in Colorado games… Helped the team place third in the Platinum division of the PGF Nationals and third at TCS Nationals.

Personal: Is majoring in biology… Wants to pursue a career in the medical field, preferably as a pediatrician… Daughter of Leann and Gil Salcido… Has a sister named Kayla… Likes going to the gym and hiking with friends… Also likes spending time at the beach.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU for the academic and softball program along with the beautiful facilities the school has to offer.  It also gives the chance for me to explore more of Colorado and experience the four seasons.”
