Bob Bledsoe

Bob Bledsoe joined the Colorado Mesa University softball coaching staff in 2015. He brings over 37 years of coaching experience to the Maverick program. 

Bob compiled a career record of 350-69 over 17 years as softball coach at Erie (Colo.) High School. He led the Tigers to 16 state tournament appearances winning 11 state titles, two runner-up finishes and a third place finish. He posted a 52-5 record in the state tournament. His 350 career wins and 11 state softball titles are both the most in Colorado state history. 

Bob was an accomplished basketball coach as well compiling a 387-152 career record over 34 years. His teams qualified for the state tournament seven times and finished as high as second. 

He has coached 53 all-state players and had 50 players play at the college level. In addition to coaching softball and basketball he also coached track, baseball, football and volleyball. 

Bob has been inducted into three Hall of Fames; National High School Coaches Association (2011), Colorado High School Athletic Association (2011) and the Colorado High School Coaches Association (2005). 

Bob worked in public education for 37 years. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Western State.
