2024 (As a Sophomore): Played in 47 games while making 36 starts, 33 of which were at all three outfield positions… Started 25 times at right field… Also made seven starts in left and one in center field… Also made three starts as the designated player and was also a regular pinch hitter and pinch runner… Hit .293 (27-92) with four doubles, a triple and ten RBIs… Scored 29 runs… Drew nine walks and two other hit by pitches… Stole nine bases without being caught… Had a .369 on-base and .359 slugging percentage… Recorded 34 putouts and three outfield assists defensively… Had six multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-3 performance against New Mexico Highlands (Mar. 29)… Drove in two runs during a 2-for-4 effort in the season-opening win over Midwestern State (Feb. 2)… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2023 (As a Freshman): Played in 45 games, making 20 starts as the designated player or in the outfield… Was often used as a pinch-hitter and pinch-runner as well… Hit .296 (21-71) while recording a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, making 13 putouts… Scored 17 runs… Stole 14 bases, second most on the team, while being caught just twice… Hit four doubles while recording the same number of RBIs… Drew seven walks to finish with a .359 on-base percentage… Had six sacrifice bunts… Named as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
Prep: 2022 graduate of Mullen High School… Played multiple sports for the Mustangs… Coached by Dave Atencio in softball… Earned First Team All-Centennial League honors as a senior in the fall of 2021 after earning second team honors as a junior in 2020… Won two 4A state championships in basketball… Was a National Honors Society member… Was a 3-time Torch Award winner… Also received the Fit For Life and Computer Science awards.

Personal: Is majoring in hospitality management… Has a goal to become an event coordinator or wedding planner… Daughter of Mike and Ammie Aragon… Has two siblings— Mikey & Adria.
Why I Chose CMU: “Mesa was the perfect fit for me. The softball program is intense and will push me to be a better player. The campus is beautiful, and the hospitality management program is great.”
