Why I Chose CMU: "What first interested me was the history of success of the softball program. Then as I started researching the school and the academic programs offered, I felt like it could be a good fit for me. When I came to the CMU softball camp this past August and was able to see the Grand Junction area, tour the school and interact with the CMU coaching staff, which is really what sealed it for me. I really liked the campus and to me, Grand Junction reminded me a lot of Rapid City, South Dakota, where my grandparents live, which gave me a sense of home."
