As a Redshirt Junior (2023): Earned Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors for her on-field play… Also shined academically, picking up College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors… Was also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the third straight year… Also received her seconds straight Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete plaudit… Hit .351 (47-134) with 21 extra-base hits despite… Led the team with 13 doubles, tenth most in the RMAC, while blasting eight home runs… Scored 40 runs while driving in 26… Played in 46 games, making 45 starts missing most of two weekends due to injury… Started 31 games at third base while returning to her former main position of second base in 12 others when Myah Arrieta was out with injury… Also made two starts as the designated player… Was in the lead-off spot of the lineup a team-high 29 times… Was second on the team and seventh in the RMAC for on-base percentage (.453)… Also had solid .627 slugging percentage and 1.080 OPS marks… Was second on the team with 21 walks… Struck out just ten 10 times… Made just four errors, recording a .974 fielding percentage… Had an 11-game hitting streak in the early portion of conference play from Feb. 25 through Mar. 12… Was second on the team with 15 multiple-hit games… Had a pair of 3-hit games… Had six multiple-RBI games, driving in five while hitting a first-inning grand slam on Feb. 19 against Fort Lewis.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2022): Played in 20 games, making seven starts after missing a good chunk of the first half of the season due to an injury sustained in the season-opener… Started four games at second base and three others at the designated player position, all three of which came during the RMAC Tournament… Hit .357 (10-28)… Half (5) of her ten hits were for extra-bases… Recorded two doubles, one triple and two home runs… Had eight RBIs and scored ten runs… Finished with a slugging percentage of .714, an on-base percentage of .417 and OPS of 1.131… Stole four bases in five attempts… Made just one error defensively, recording a .957 fielding percentage… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive year.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2021): Played in 37 games, making 35 starts at second base… Hit .298 (28-94) with eight doubles, five home runs and 22 RBIs at the plate… Nearly half (13) of her 28 hits were for extra bases, helping her record a .543 slugging percentage… Scored 23 runs while drawing 11 walks and three hit by pitches… Was named to the RMAC All-Tournament team after hitting three home runs in the championship game against Colorado Christian (May 15)… Became just the third Maverick in program-history to ever accomplish that feat in a single game… Was 3-for-4 with four RBIs in that contest… Had two doubles in a 2-for-3 game, 3-RBI game against Colorado School of Mines Mar. 7)… Was 3-for-3 on Mar. 1 at MSU Denver… Finished with seven multiple-hit games… Was also sound defensively, making just five errors in 111 total chances, good for a .955 fielding percentage… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman (2020):Played in nine games, making six starts at second base during the COVID-19 shortened season... Went 3-for-16 (.188) at the plate... Had one double and scored three runs... Drew three walks and finished with a .316 on-base percentage.
Prep: Played for Coach Scott Else and the Central HS Warriors… Was named as the team’s Athlete of the Year as a senior… Was also the Superintendents Scholar in 2019.
Personal: Majoring in ecology and wants to study and restore gas and oil leaks… Daughter of Casey and Spencer Sharp… Has an older sister, Annalysia… Enjoys reading, sleeping and watching Netflix.
