Danny Mistry

Dr. Mistry is a graduate of the University of Madras, India where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his Residency in Medicine from the University of Virginia and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

He comes to Grand Junction from the University of Virginia where he has served as the Primary Care Team Physician and Co-Medical Director for the Athletic Department and an Associate Professor for the University from 2002 until present. Currently, he is a Consultant Team Physician for the U.S.A. Swim Team.

His area of interest are preventive sports medicine, cardiovascular screening for athletes and community educational programs to enhance health and wellness. Dr. Mistry is an author and co-author of numerous medical publications and has been a guest speaker throughout the country.

He enjoys spending time with his family and the Colorado outdoors.
