2023 Outdoor (Junior): Ran the 110-meter hurdles four times in three meets, including the RMAC Championships… Claimed the bronze medal and First Team All-RMAC honors with a third place finish at the conference championships… Had a season-best time of 14.49 seconds in the preliminary round before clocking a time of 14.63 in the finals… Was ranked fifth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list with his 14.53 altitude-adjusted time… Had qualified for the conference meet by running a time of 14.82 to win at the Mines Mini Meet, his first meet of a late-started season due to injury… Had a second place finish in that same time at the CSU Pueblo Last Chance Invitational… Named to the CSC Academic All-District® team… Also selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the 60-meter hurdles at all seven while running the 200 meters at two… Claimed the silver medal and First Team All-RMAC honors with a second place finish at the conference meet… Broke his own school-record with a time of 8.00 seconds in the finals… Was tied for second on the RMAC’s season-long performance list with his sea-level time of 8.03, which he used to win the Minnesota State Massive Meet #2… Was also tied for third in the South Central Region with that NCAA Championship provisional qualifying time, allowing him to earn USTFCCCA All-Region honors… Was tied for 24
th on the national performance list… Had set the school-record of 8.02 to win at the Western Colorado Open, breaking teammate Dawson Heide’s time of 8.05, set in December… Ran between 8.00 and 8.05 seconds in the hurdles at five of his seven meets… Also claimed victory at the Minnesota State Massive Meet #1… Had a season-best time of 22.69 seconds in the 200 meters at the Wes Lavong Open… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2022 Outdoor (Sophomore): Ran in four meets, winning the RMAC title in the 110-meter hurdles with a school-record and NCAA provisional qualifying time of 14.42 seconds… Became the first CMU athlete to win a RMAC title in a hurdling event… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors… Had posted a wind-aided time of 14.40 in the preliminary round… Was ranked fourth on the RMAC season-long performance list… Was ranked 40
th (tie) on the national list with his sea-level time of 14.43 at the APU Last Chance… Won the event at the Maverick Top Gun Last Chance Meet in 14.75… Had a wind-aided time of 21.93 seconds in the 200 meters at the Maverick Invite, his only attempt of the season at that discipline… Did qualify him for the RMAC Championships in the 200, but chose to concentrate on the hurdles… Received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.. Also selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman): Contested the 60-meter hurdles at five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors with a third place finish at the conference meet… Set a NCAA provisional qualifying and career-best time of 8.10 seconds… Ranked seventh on the RMAC season-long performers list with the altitude-adjusted equivalent of 8.14 seconds… Was also ranked 36
th (tie) nationally… Won the event at the Mountaineer Open & Multi while placing second at the Western Colorado Open… Also ran the 200 meters at that meet, posting a time of 23.37 seconds… Selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2021 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets, running the 110-meter hurdles at each, recording two wins… Also contested the 400-meter hurdles three times and the 200 meters once… Had a wind-legal season-best time of 14.84 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles to win and set a track record at the Maverick Sun Classic… Turned in a wind-aided mark of 14.79 at the Loper Twilight #2 to rank fifth on the RMAC’s season-long performers list… Also won at the Maverick Multi & Open in 14.93 seconds after taking second at the Maverick Open… Finished eighth at the RMAC Championships… Also qualified for the RMAC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles before false starting… Had a season-best time of 56.45 to rank eighth in program history at the Maverick Multi & Open… Ran the 200 meters in 22.57 seconds at the Maverick Sun Classic.
2021 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 60-meter hurdles after placing fourth (8.41)… Had turned in a season-best time of 8.37 seconds to win the event at the CRC UCCS Open… Was ranked him sixth on the season-long RMAC performers list with the altitude adjustment to 8.41 seconds… Placed second in the discipline at the Western Slope Challenge and third at the Adams State Grizzly Open… Helped the Mavericks win the 4x400-meter relay at the Western Slope Challenge in 3:28.08… Also ran the 200 meters at Adams State finishing in 23.10 seconds.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Vista Ridge HS… Was a 4-year letter-winner in both track and football for the Wolves… Was a 2-time all-conference track and field performer for Coach Lindsay Mock and was named as the junior student athlete of the year in after picking up similar freshman plaudits… Qualified for the 5A state championships in three events as a junior in 2019 placing fifth in the 110-meter hurdles, tenth in the 300-meter hurdles and 11
th in the 200… Won the Pikes Peak Athletic Conference meet in the 110-meter hurdles… Set a PR of 14.60 in that event a week later at the Fountain-Fort Carson Invitational… Was also a state qualifier as a sophomore in 2018… Was unable to compete as a senior because of COVID-19… Has other PRs of 11.36 (100), 22.28 (200), 50.76 (400) and 38.95 (300 Hurdles), all set during his 2019 junior campaign.
Personal: Is majoring in business administration… Aspires for a pro career in either track or football… Son of Gina Davis… Has one sibling— Ashton… Enjoys weight lifting and training.
