2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Ran the 400-meter hurdles at five meets, including the RMAC Championships... Posted a season-best time of 57.56 in that meet to finish ninth... Ranks seventh in program history with that mark.
2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in the sprinting events at four meets... Posted season-best times of 7.62 (60), 24.20 (200) and 52.51 (400).
Prep: 2A All-State performer in both 2016 and 2017 for the Bill Lehr coached Big Piney HS Punchers... Earned 2A West All-Conference honors in three straight years from 2016-18... Won the 300-meter hurdles state title as a sophomore in 2016... Won the 400-meter 2A West title in 2018 with a PR of 51.14 seconds... Went on to place fourth at state... Also had a 100-meter PR time of 11.63 earlier that season.... Placed seventh at the Wyoming State Indoor Championships in 2018 in the 400.... Finished second in the 300-meter hurdles at the 2017 state outdoor meet after running a PR time of 40.29 in the regionals, also finishing second.
Personal: Is majoring in sports management... Son of Greg and Sarah Meisner... Has a sister - Courtney... Enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling and exploring the mountains.
Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because the campus was amazing. It felt welcoming and the people here are too nice. Also, Grand Junction has a small town vibe to me even though the population is so large."
