2024 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection... Competed in three meets… Contested the 100 and 200 meters at each… Had a wind-aided 100-meter season best of 10.89… Had an all-conditions best of 21.91 in the 200.
2023-24 Indoor (Sophomore): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection… Sprinted in three meets, all hosted by Western Colorado… Competed in the 60 and 200 meters at each… Posted season-best times of 7.11 and 22.52 in the 60 and 200 meters, respectively.
2023 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.
2022-23 Indoor (Freshman): Sprinted at six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran in the 200 meters at all six… Qualified for the RMAC Championships in the 200 meters, finishing 15
th in the 200 meters with a time of 22.67 seconds after setting a season-best time of 22.36 (22.40-converted) at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic… Also ran on the Mavs’ seventh place 4x400-meter relay team at the RMAC Championships, his lone relay leg of the season… Helped the Mavs set their 11
th fastest time (3:24.49) in indoor program history… Had a season-best 60-meter time of 7.03 in the preliminary round of the West Lavong Open.
Prep: 2022 graduate and multi-sport standout for the Pueblo County High School Spartans… Coached in track by Dan Radiff… Was a 4A state qualifier in the 100, 200 and 400 meters as a senior… Was named as the South Central League MVP after winning the 100 and 200 while placing second in the 400… Set PR times of 11.23, 22.51 and 50.76 during the season… Also won the league title and Pueblo County Championship in the 200 and 400 as a junior in 2021… Was named as the SCL’s Defensive Player of the Year in basketball in 2021.
Personal: Is majoring in business administration… Has a career goal of obtaining a job as a sports operations manager… Son of John and Nancy Musso… Brother Austin Reese was formerly on the CMU team… Has a younger sister Hope… Enjoys playing the saxophone and watching Disney movies.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because the campus felt like home and I knew the track program would allow me to pursue my athletic goals.”
