2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran in three meets contesting the mile, 3,000 and 5,000 meters…. Had career-best times of 4:50.10 (Mile) and 9:53.08 (3K) at the Western Colorado Alumni Open… Had posted a 5K time of 16:48.42 at the Mines Winter Classic… RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.

2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman): Ran the 5,000 meters in two meets... Had a career-best time of 16:42.32 at the Colorado Invitational... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Did not compete outdoors.

2017-18 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School: Ran for Palmer High School and coach Rob Gilliam...Helped team to a ninth place finish at the State Cross Country Championships as a senior in 2016... Set PRs of 4:48.69 (1600) and 10:32.44 (3200) during his 2017 senior track and field season.

Personal: Majoring in exercise Science and kinesiology with aspirations of becoming an exercise physiologist and a cross country/track coach at the professional level...Son of Michael and Susan Schenk...Has one sibling, Bobby...Aspires to become an Olympic Training coach... Chose CMU because of the academic opportunities in exercise science, the location of the school and because it felt like a fit when visiting the school and team.
