2021 Outdoor: Did not compete in any meets.
 
2021 Indoor (Junior): Ran in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Placed ninth in both the 60 (7.02) and 200 (22.66) meters at the conference meet… Also ran on the Mavs’ sixth place 4x400-meter relay team, which posted a time of 3:27.72… Had ran a career-best 6.94 seconds in the 60 meters during both the preliminaries and finals at the season-opening Western Slope Challenge to stand in a fourth place tie on CMU’s all-time performers’ chart… Ranked 11th on the RMAC-season long performance list with the altitude-adjusted mark of 6.98… Had a season-best time of 22.55 in the 200 meters at the Adams State Grizzly Open… Also ranked 12th in the RMAC with the converted mark of 22.28… Helped the Mavs win the 4x400-meter relay at the Western Slope Challenge in 3:28.08.

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed at six meets, qualifying for the 60 and 200 meters at the RMAC Championships… Finished sixth in the 200 (22.66) at the conference meet to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors… Also finished ninth in the 60 (7.01) and was on the Mavs’ seventh place 4x400-meter relay team, that finished in 3:24.92, fifth fastest in program history… Ran the 60 meters in 7.00 seconds to open the season at the Western Colorado Open... Finished fourth in the finals before taking second in the 200 on that day (Dec. 7)… Qualified for the RMAC Championships in the 200 with a career-best time of 22.20 seconds at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational… Ranks third in program history with that time… The altitude-adjusted time of 22.27 put him tenth on the RMAC’s season-long performers’ list… Was tied for 13th in the 60 with his converted time of 7.04.

2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Helped the Mavs win the 4x100m relay at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open, his only meet of the year... Ran the lead-off leg on the team that posted a time of 42.01, fifth fastest in school history.

2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets, running both the 60 and 200 meters at the RMAC Championships... Finished 13th in the 200 and 15th in the 60... Had posted season-best times of 7.06 and 22.89 to finish third in both events at the season-opening Western Colorado Open.

Prep: Ran for the Cedaredge HS Bruins, coached by Kirby Henderson... Helped the squad win a pair of 2A state titles... Won state titles in the 200, 4x200 and 4x400 as a senior in 2018... Also placed third in the 100 after setting a PR of 11.00 in the prelims... Set his 200-meter PR of 22.41 Was a 2-time all-state and all-conference performer... Won the Western Slope League title in both the 100 and 200 as both a junior and senior... Named the 2017 Track Athlete of the Year. 

Personal: Is majoring in exercise science... Aspires to become a physical therapist or weights coach... Son of Gary and Barbara Grant... Enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, golf and hiking.

Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because I'm only an hour away from hometown, have cheaper tuition and the exercise science department is good."
