2026 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.

2025-26 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in three meets, including the RMAC Championships… Set a season-best time of 7.93 seconds in the preliminary round of the 60-meter hurdles to qualify for the finals but was unable to contest the final due to injury… Also qualified the finals in the 60-meter dash with a preliminary round time of 6.83 seconds, his best of the season… Ranks second in the hurdles and ninth in the dash on CMU’s all-time charts… Earned USTFCCCA All-South Central Region and Region Top Performer honors in the hurdles and led the RMAC’s and regional season-long performance lists with his altitude-adjusted mark of 7.97 seconds, which also put him tied for 24th on the national list… Was ranked 11th in the RMAC in the dash with his converted time of 6.87 seconds... Earned a spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

Prep: 2025 graduate of Cherokee Trail High School… Earned second team all-state and First Team All-Centennial League honors in the 110-meter hurdles as both a junior and senior…- Coached by Chris Faust… Placed fourth at the 2025 state meet and won the Centennial League title for the second straight year… Set a PR of 14.36 in one of his six senior season wins… Placed third at state as a junior in 2024… Won the Colorado Junior Olympic Championship before taking second at the USATF Region 10 Junior Olympic Championships in 2024… Was a New Balance Indoor National Qualifier in the 60-meter hurdles in 2025… Has a PR of 8.20 in that event.

Personal: Is majoring in business… Envisions himself leading a team or owning his own business and values being creative and efficient as well as equity and progress… Son of Aaron and Karen Griffen… Has a younger brother named Langston… Enjoys making and cooking, self care, collaboration, working out, fashion, photography and music.

Why I Chose CMU: “I love the location, the programs and the campus. I am looking forward to being on the track team and appreciate the affordability and my credits earned in high school via CE/AP being accepted.”
