2026 Outdoor (Redshirt Senior): Ran in four total races while competing in all three of the Mavs’ home meets… Set a career-best time of 4:16.29 in the 1,500 meters to close out his career at the Western Slope Conversion Classic… Had a time of 2:06.30 in the 800 at the High Desert Dental Maverick Invitational… Posted a time of 16:52.20 in the 5K at that meet in the same meet.
2025-26 Indoor (Redshirt Senior): Ran in four meets… Posed a career-best time of 9:21.16 in the 3K at the Colorado Classic… Had a career-best mile time of 4:41.74 at the Mountain Lion Open… Was part of the Mavs’ distance medley relay team at the Last Chance RMAC Qualifier that finished in 11:00.46.
2025 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Did not race.
2024-25 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran in two meets, contesting the 3,000 meters at both… Posted a season-best time of 9:42.41 at the Colorado Invitational.
2024 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran in both of CMU’s two home regular season meets… Contested the 800 and 1500 at both… Has a season-best 800 time of 2:05.90 at the Maverick Invite & Multi… Posted a season-best of 4:26.37 in the 1500 at the Maverick Invite #2 after running to a time of 4:26.41 a week earlier.
2023-24 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran in two meets… Posted a 3K time of 9:59.48 at the Big Red Machine Open before posting a 5K time at 17:47.41 at the Western Colorado Open.
2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not compete in any meets during either the indoor or outdoor seasons.
2022 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season… Competed unattached in the 5K at the Maverick Invite #1, recording a time of 18:04.81.
2021-22 Indoor (Freshman): Redshirt season… Competed unattached in the 3K at the Western Colorado Alumni Open, racing to a time of 10:15.20.
Prep: Earned a pair of all-conference honors in cross country while running for Coach Gene Blankenship and the Medical Lake High School Cardinals… Graduated in 2021… Was a 4-year team member, who served as team captain in 2019 and 2020… Helped the team win a Washington state title in 2017… Won the NEA District individual title that year… Placed 22nd at the state meet as a junior in 2019… Set track PRs of 2:07.04 (800) and 4:37.28 (1600) in 2021… Had a 3200-meter PR of 10:07.43 to place second at the 2019 NEA District track meet before placing 13th at the state meet.
Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology… Son of Sarah Collins… Has one brother— Thomas… Enjoys running, playing video games and hockey… Coached a special needs hockey team for 2 ½ years.
