2023 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran in three events at the Maverick Invite, his lone meet of the season… Finished the 800 meter in 2:04.41 and the 1,500 in 4:09.16 before running on a 4x400-meter relay quartet that finished in 3:55.05.

2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran the mile in two meets, posting a season-best time of 4:37.30 at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.

2022 Outdoor (Sophomore): Redshirt season… Competed unattached at the Maverick Invite #1, posting times of 2:07.48 (800) and 4:16.80 (1500).

2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in three meets, running the mile in the first two before anchoring the Mavs’ distance medley relay team at the RMAC Championships… Posted a season-best time of 4:47.90 in the mile at the New Mexico Classic… Helped the Mavs post a time of 11:12.41 in the DMR at the RMAC Championships as they finished ninth.

2021 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in each of CMU’s three home meets across three different disciplines… Posted a time of 10:14.35 in his lone attempt at the 3,000-meter steeplechase during the Maverick Sun Classic… That time is fifth fastest in program history and put him 20^th on the season-long performance list… Had a season-best of 4:04.76 in the 1,500 meters at the Maverick Multi & Open to rank ninth in program history… Finished the 5,000 in 15:45.53 in his lone effort over that distance at the Maverick Open.
 
2021 Indoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Prep: Was a 4-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and a 3-time letter winner in track at Fossil Ridge HS… Coached by Dani Cook… Was the team captain as a senior… Earned first team all-conference honors in cross country as both a junior (2018) and senior (2019)... Was a 4-year state qualifier... Finished 18th at the 2019 Nike Cross Southwest Regional after placing 73rd at the 5A State Championships... Finished fourth at regionals... Set track PRs of 4:47.75 (1600) and 10:26.39 (3200) at the 2019 Front Range League Championships as a junior before his senior track campaign was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic... Had finished 24th at the Nike Cross regional in 2018 and 62nd in 2017.

Personal: Is majoring in biology… Son of Ryan and Rebecca Martin… Siblings are Will and Ellie… Aspires to get into medical school and become a surgeon to give back to people who deserve a better life.
 
Why I Chose CMU: “I loved the environment that I felt when I got to campus. I was quickly able to meet Coach Reetz at a meet in Denver and felt right at home with the team. I love that I am able to be get outdoors very easily from campus and explore the hundreds of trails Grand Junction has to offer.”
