2026 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in three meets… Set season-best times of 10.97 (100), 22.91 (200) seconds at the Western Slope Conversion Classic… Also had a mark of 6.24 meters (20-5.75) in the long jump at that meet.

2025-26 Indoor (Freshman): Ran for the team in two meets and unattached in another… Posted a time of 7.01 seconds in the 60 meters at the Last Chance RMAC Qualifier… Ran to a time of 6.88 while competing unattached at the Mountaineer Open & Multis… Had a 200-meter time of 22.90 at that meet.

Prep: 2025 graduate of Grand Junction High School... Coached by Dustin Giesenhagen… Was a Second Team 4A All-State selection in the 100 meters as a junior in 2024… Finished third at that year’s state championships for the Tigers… Also placed 11^th in the 200 and 12^th in the long jump that year… Won the 100 and 200-meter titles while taking second in the long jump at the 2024 Southwestern League Championships… Claimed seven event wins in a limited senior season while setting PRs of 10.86 (100) and 22-0.5 (LJ)… Has other PRs of 22.32 (200) and 6.91 (Indoor 60).

Personal: Is majoring in nursing with aspirations of becoming a nurse practitioner or something along those lines… Son of Akira and Gary Anderson… Has two siblings— Akaya and Samya…  Enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and video games.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the great atmosphere and amazing coaches. I also like the fact that I am still close with my family and able to see them every day.”
