2026 Outdoor (Sophomore): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Competed in five meets, contesting the shot put, discus throw and hammer throw at each of the first four before skipping the hammer at the last… Recorded eight top five finishes... Set a season-best of 45.64 meters (149-9) in the discus to place ninth at the RMAC Championships… Won that event at the Western Slope Conversion Classic… Had a season-best of 15.10 meters (49-6.5) in the shot put at the Western Slope Conversion Classic… Finished 19th at the RMAC meet with a throw of 13.08 meters (42-11)… Finished 23rd in the hammer throw after winning that event with a season-best of 48.78 meters (160-0) to open his season at the Maverick Early Bird Open… Was 11th on the RMAC season-long performance list in the discus, 14th in the shot put and 20th in the hammer throw… Ranks fifth in CMU history for the shot put and eighth for the discus.

2025-26 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in seven meets, contesting both the shot put and weight throw at each… Qualified for the RMAC Championships in both disciplines… Set a season-best of 16.56 meters (54-4) in the weight throw at the Big Red Machine Open… Ranks eighth in CMU history with that mark… Also set a season-best of 14.76 meters (48-5.25) in the shot put at that meet… Finished second in both events… Placed 14th in the weight throw and 15th in the shot put at the conference meet with marks of 15.64 meters (51-3.75) and 14.73 meters (48-4), respectively… Was 11th (weight throw) and 18th (shot put) on the RMAC season-long performance lists… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2025 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified in three events… Placed 16th in both the hammer and discus throws while taking 22nd in the shot put… Had a season-best hammer throw of 45.88 meters (150-6) at the conference meet… Had a season-best discus effort of 42.72 meters (140-2) at the Maverick Invitational before registering a throw of 42.14 meters (138-3) at the RMAC Championships… Also had a season-best of 14.09 meters (46-2.75) in the shot put at the Maverick Invitational… Registered a mark of 12.95 meters (42-6) at the conference meet… Finished 18th on the RMAC season long performance list in the hammer throw, 19th in the shot put and 21st in the discus.

2024-25 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships… Threw the shot put at all seven while competing in the weight throw at six… Set season-best marks in both events at the RMAC Last Chance Qualifier on Feb. 21… Had a mark of 15.03 meters (49-3.75) in the shot put… Ranked tenth on the RMAC season-long performance list with that mark… Went on to score a team point with an eighth place finish at the RMAC Championships… Had a mark of 14.68 meters (48-2) at the conference meet… Registered a weight throw effort of 14.94 meters (49-0.25) to garner a spot in the RMAC Championships in that event as well, but did not record a legal mark at the conference meet… Recorded three top three and seven top five finishes throughout the season.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School… Set the Lobos’ school record in the discus with a throw 169-7 to win at the Altitude Running Invite, one of his seven senior season wins… Went on to place fourth at the state championships and second at the Front Range League Championships… Placed 12th in the shot put at the state meet after setting a PR throw of 51-9 ½ to claim one of four senior season wins at the KC Logan R2J Invitational… Coached by Adam Trainor and Jamie Macenzie… Placed 12th in the shot put and 14th in the discus at the 2023 state meet as a junior… Was ninth in the discus as a sophomore… Earned second team all-conference honors  as both a junior and senior… Was also an academic all-state honoree.

Personal: Is majoring in history… Son of Julie Major… Enjoys disc and regular golf, playing pickle ball and just hanging out.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because it was in state and felt like the right place to start my future.”
