Biography
Walking-on to the team in 2026-27 after attending CMU in 2025-26… Was not on the team that year.
Prep: 2025 graduate of the Windsor Charter Academy… Competed in track & field for Severance High School… Set the school-record in the pole vault with a clearance of 14-1, which tied him for sixth at the 4A State Championships as a senior… Also qualified for the state meet as a sophomore and junior... Earned Academic All-State accolades in 2025… Was the captain of the Windsor Charter Academy soccer team as a senior in the fall of 2024… Earned all-state honors in soccer.
Personal: Is majoring in mechanical engineering technology with a minor in music… Son of Jennifer and Doug Smith… Has a sibling— Bridey… Plays the guitar a lot and loves anything music related… Has been playing the guitar since he was four years old… Haz been in several jazz bands, including at CMU… Aspires to work on space ships and be a part of space exploration… “I have always been in awe of space and the universe and through engineering, I can be an active contributor to the discovery of such an incredible unknown.”
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I wanted a well-rounded school with various successful programs. I love that it is a jack of all trades sort of place. I like the idea that after I pass through college here I will be a more well-rounded and successful person in many different fields.”
