2023 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 100 in all four and the 200 in two of them, qualifying for the RMAC meet in both… Placed tenth in the 100 with a career-best wind legal time of 10.84 while playing 19
th in the 200 with a time of 22.34… Had set a career-best time of 21.91 in the 200 at the Kita Mayer Classic… Ranks tenth in program-history with that time… Ran on the winning 4x100-meter relay team at the Maverick Invite, helping the Mavs to a time of 40.97, seventh fastest in CMU history.
2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran in four meets, contesting the 60 meters in all four and the 200 meters in three of them… Had a season-best of 6.98 seconds in the 60 at the Western Colorado Alumni Open, narrowly missing out on RMAC Championship qualification after ending up 25
th on the RMAC performers list with a converted time of 7.02… Had a season-best 200 time of 23.01 at the Mountaineer Open & Multi to open the season.
2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in all six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the 100 meters at each and the 200 in each of the first four… Was also a member of three 4x100-meter relay teams… Finished 11
th in the 100 at the RMAC Championships with an official season-best of 10.92 seconds… Ran two faster wind-aided times, including a 10.79 at the APU Last Chance… Placed 16
th in the 200 at the RMAC Championships with a wind-aided time of 22.51 seconds… Had a season-best of 22.33 at the Maverick Invite #2… Helped the Mavs to the No. 5 (40.85), No. 6 (40.86) and No. 9 (41.34) ranked 4x100-meter relay teams in program history.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 60 meters in each while contesting the 200 twice… Posted a career-best time of 6.93 seconds in the 60 to finish seventh at the RMAC Championships… Is tied for ninth on CMU’s all-time performers list with that time, one of three sub 7-second times he posted… Had a season-best time of 23.01 in the 200 at the New Mexico Classic.
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in six meets, including all three home meets and the RMAC Championships during a break-out season… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 100 meters while advancing to the final in both the 100 and 200 at the conference meet… Placed fourth in the 100 with a wind-aided (+2.7) time of 10.59, the second fastest all-conditions time in Maverick history… Also ranked sixth on the RMAC’s season long performance list with that altitude-adjusted effort of 10.62… Ran four wind-aided times between 10.59 through 10.83 seconds while turning in a mark of 11.00 seconds in his only record-setting wind legal effort at the Maverick Open... Finished eighth at the RMAC Championships in the 200 with a time of 22.26… Had a wind-aided (+2.6) time of 21.94 in the preliminary round… Was ranked 12th on the RMAC performers list with a converted time of 22.01... Helped the Mavericks win the 4x100-meter relay at the Maverick Sun Classic in 41.60 seconds, the 11th fastest time in school-history… Recorded eight total top-5 finishes throughout the season.
2021 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed at each of the three regular season meets of the abbreviated season, running the 60 meters at each and the 200 meters once… Posted a season-best time of 7.07 seconds in the 60 at the Western Slope Challenge… Posted a time of 23.46 in the 200 at the Adams State Grizzly Open.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 60 meters at each and the 200 meters twice… Finished 11
th in the 60 meters at the conference meet with a time of 7.06 seconds… Had qualified by running 6.99 seconds at the Mines Winter Classic... Was ranked 12
th on the RMAC season-long performers list with the altitude-adjusted time of 7.01… Posted a season-best time of 22.96 in the 200 at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
Prep: Was the state runner-up in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes as both a junior (2018) and senior (2019) for the Chugiak HS Mustangs... Coached by Melissa Hall... Earned first team all-state honors in track & field as a senior... Was also a second team all-conference football selection in the fall of 2018... Has PRs of 10.95 and 22.23 during the 2019 season.
Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology... Son of John and Kim Wilson... Has two older brothers (John, Joshua)... Joshua plays basketball at Brevard (N.C.) College... Enjoys watching football and other major sporting events... Aspires to be a physical therapist for professional athletes.
