2024-25 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran in two meets… Finished the 3,000 meters in 9:29.97 at the Mountaineer Open… Finished the mile in 4:34.07 at the Colorado Invitational.

2024 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Did not race.

2023-24 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman): Ran the 3K at two meets in Gunnison… Posted a season-best time of 9:18.25 at the Western Colorado Open… Had run a time of 9:20.58 just two weeks earlier at the Big Red Machine Open.

2022-23 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons… Competed unattached at the Western Colorado Open indoor meet, running to a 3K time of 9:34.31.

Prep: 2022 graduate of Mead High School… Coached by Alex Garcia… Finished 50^th at the 4A State Cross Country Championships as a senior in the fall of 2021… Had set a XC PR of 17:08.50 to take tenth at the regional after finishing 11^th at the NCAC League Championships… Went on to finish 98^th at the NXR Southwest Region... Set track PRs of 4:42.32 (1600) and 10:23.24 (3200) in the spring of 2022.

Personal: Is majoring in business administration… Son of Julye and Jason Cox.

Why I Chose CMU: “They have good cross country and track and field programs as well as its far from home.”
