- Second Team All-RMAC - 2022 Outdoor (Javelin)
2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in the javelin throw at five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with a fourth place finish at the conference meet… Recorded a mark of 53.32 meters (174-11) that day after recording a career-best mark of 53.56 meters (175-9) at the Colorado Invitational… Ranks seventh in program history with that mark, which also put him ninth on the RMAC season-long performance list… Won the event at the Maverick Invite #2 with a throw of 53.15 meters (174-4).
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman): Redshirt season.
Before CMU: Attended Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado during the 2018-19 academic year... Played baseball for Rattlers.
Prep: 2018 graduate of Pueblo County High School... Played baseball, basketball and football for the Hornets... Did not compete in track & field... Was a Second Team All-South Central League pick in baseball... Also earned first team all-academic honors for three years.
Personal: Is majoring in education and history... Plans to become a high school teacher and baseball coach... Son of Malinda and Dallas Davis II... Has a younger brother-- Dax.
Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because they have a great education program that I wanted to be apart of. I also chose CMU for a new adventure and because of the atmosphere that the school has."
