• 3x RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore):  Finished the 800 meters in 2:22.29 at the Western Colorado Alumni Open, his lone race of the season…. RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll pick.

2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman): Ran the 800 meters in 2:16.46 at the Colorado Invitational, his first collegiate meet.. Did not compete indoors... Earned RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll plaudits.

2017-18 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Prep: Ran for the Bulldogs of Moffat County High School... Was an all-conference cross country (2015) and track and field (2015, 2016) runner... Earned all-academic status four times... Qualified for the CHSAA 3A State XC Championships in 2015 and 2016… Placed 15th at the 3A Region 1 Championships as a senior with a 5K XC PR of 17:03.0 for a PR...Finished third at the Shana Ward Memorial and sixth at the Moffat County Invitational… Had PRs of 2:05.91 (800) and 4:54.49 (1600) on the track.

Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology and K-12 education with plans to become a coach and teacher... Son of Lance and Nadine Scranton… Has three siblings, Calden, Cale and Corey… Enjoys playing guitar, fly fishing and petting cats… Chose CMU because it was an opportunity to stay close to home and the amazing outdoor lifestyle.
