2026 Outdoor (Freshman): Represented the Mavs in two meets… Set a school-record time of 14:08.75 in the 5K at the Bryan Clay Invitational… Also posted a time of 3:47.96 in the 1,500 meters later in that meet to rank second in program history… Went on to claim Second Team All-RMAC honors with a fourth place finish in the 5K at the RMAC Championships… Also ran the 1,500 meters as an unattached runner in two other meets… Was named to the USTFCCA All-Academic Team.
2025-26 Indoor (Freshman): Ran in three meets… Set the CMU record winning the 3K at the GVSU Big Meet-Friday with a time of 8:16.94… Ranks fifth in CMU history with a mile time of 4:19.38 at the Colorado Classic… Helped the Mavericks set a distance medley relay time of 10:23.41 to take fifth place at the RMAC Championships… That time was a NCAA provincial qualifying effort and the third fastest in program history.
Prep: 2025 graduate of Siuslaw High School… Won six state titles and set seven school and two state records for the Vikings and Coach Chris Johnson in his prep career… Won the 1,500 and 3,000 meter titles in his 2025 senior track & field season… Set PR times of 3:57.59 and 8:28.89 earlier in the season… Had an 800 PR time of 1:54.57 that year as well… Won eight times as a senior… Also won the district and state cross country titles in the fall of 2024… Went on to take 24
th at the NXR Northwest Regional Championship… Had a XC 5K PR time of 14:58.40.
Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology… Son of Matt and Emily Wilson… Has a sister Elsbeth… Wants to work for a river guide company… Enjoys fishing, running and outdoor activities.
