2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the 400-meter hurdles at each while running the 100 meters and 200 meters as well… Won the hurdles in a career-best time of 54.38 seconds at the Maverick Top Gun Last Chance Meet… Ranks second in program history with that time… Was ranked sixth on the RMAC’s season long performers list with the altitude-adjusted mark of 54.49… Had finished 18
th at the RMAC Championships a week earlier… Had a wind-aided 100-meter time of 11.18 at the last chance meet while posting a career-best 200-meter mark of 22.72… Had a wind-legal 100-meter best of 11.44 at the Maverick Invite #2… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in the season-opening Mel Tjeerdsma Classic, posting times of 23.39 (200) and 52.70 (400)… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Contested the 400-meter hurdles in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Had a season-best time of 56.63 to take 11
th at the conference meet... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Indoor (Junior): Ran both the 60-meter dash and hurdles at the CRC UCCS Open, his lone meet of the abbreviated season… Posted times of 7.38 and 8.63 seconds... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor (Sophomore): Ran at four meets before missing the second half of the season due to injury… Had five total top five finishes… Won the 60 meters at the Western Colorado Open to open the season… Finished in 6.95 seconds, which was the fastest by a Mav in more than three years at the time…. Also had a career-best time of 23.01 in the 200 to take fourth at that that meet… Had a season-best 60-meter hurdle time of 8.45 to finish third at that meet as well… Held on to a top-10 finish on the RMAC’s season-long performers list in the 60 with his altitude-adjusted mark of 6.99… Was also 12
th on the 60-meter hurdle list at 8.49… Ran on the Mavs’ second place 4x400-meter relay team at the UCCS Invitational on Dec. 14… Helped CMU to a time of 3:24.44, seventh fastest in program history… RMAC All-Academic Honor roll selection.
2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in three meets... Had season-bests of 15.44 and 57.43 in the 110 and 400-meter hurdles at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open... Helped the Mavs set a former school-record time of 41.41 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay at the Mines Kit Mayer Invite... That time is now sixth fastest in program history... Was also a member of the No. 10 ranked relay team that posted a mark of 42.01 to win that event at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open.

2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in seven meets, contesting the 200 meter, 60-meter hurdle and 4x400-meter relay disciplines... Placed 11th in the 60-meter hurdles at the RMAC Championships with a time of 8.46 seconds after setting a season-best time of 8.41 to place second at the Western Colorado Open, his first collegiate meet... Is ranked seventh in program history with that time... Won that event at the Adams State NCAA Qualifier... Also ran on the Mavs' fourth place and school-record setting 4x400-meter relay team at the conference meet... Helped the Mavs to a time of 3:20.96... Had also been on the relay team at the Colorado Invitational, which had posted a time of 3:22.14 to set a former school-record (Current No. 3)... Posted a season-best time of 23.07 in the 200 at the Adams State NCAA Qualifier.
Prep: Won the 2018 3A state title in both the 110 and 300-meter hurdles for the Bayfield HS Wolverines, coached by his father Gary… Named as the 3A Track Athlete of the Year and led the team to a state crown… Ran a PR of 14.38 in the 110-meter preliminaries… Set a 300-meter PR time of 38.07 at the Doherty Spartan Invitational… Had placed second at state in the 300 and fourth in the 110 as a junior in 2017… Also placed fifth in the 300 as a sophomore in 2016 earning the first of five podium finishes… Set an indoor 60-meter PR of 8.68 during the 2017 season at the Western State High School Indoor Open... Won state team titles in football, basketball and track as a senior.. Was a first team all-state honors in both football and track.
Personal: Is majoring in chemistry… Son of Gary and Candys Heide… Twin brother Dawson is also on the Maverick squad... Also has two other older siblings (Genessa and Destry)...Â
