2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Contested both the long and high jump at four meets... Finished seventh in both at the RMAC Championships... Had a wind-legal season-best of 6.77m (22-2.5) in the long jump to sit fourth in program history after qualifying for the conference meet with an all-conditions season-best of 6.82mw (22-4.5) at the Mines Kit Mayer Invite... Was ranked ninth on the RMAC performance list in that event... Was also tied for ninth in the high jump with a season-best of 1.95m (6-4.75) at the Kit Mayer meet... Ranks fourth in program history with that mark... Ran the 100 meters at the season-opening Fum McGraw Open, posting a time of 11.87.
2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in the long and high jump at each of six meets he appeared at... Qualified for the RMAC Championships in both disciplines finishing 12th in the long jump and 13th in the high jump... Had a season-best mark of 1.99m (6-6.25) in the high jump at the Mines Division II Invite & Multi... Ranks fourth in program history with that effort... Had a career-best leap of 6.90m (22-7.75) in the long jump at the Mines Alumni Classic & Multi to rank fifth in program history.
Prep: Placed third at the 2018 5A State Championships in the high jump for the Horizon HS Hawks, coached by TJ Ricciardi… Had set a high school PR of 6-6 earlier in the season in one of his six meet wins during his senior year, highlighted by a Front Range League title… Also qualified for state in the long jump with a mark of 21-10 set en-route to a runner-up finish at the league meet… Had won the league high jump title with a then PR of 6-4.5 before finishing seventh at state as a junior in 2017.
Personal: Is majoring in sport management… Son of Brett and Michelle Killmon… Has three siblings (Bryce, Brayden and Tessa)… Aspires for a career in management or marketing… Lists hobbies as hunting, fishing, camping, watching football, hanging out with family and brining the energy.

That is exactly what CMU did. They gave me a chance in track and field but also truly do care about your academics first.”
