Biography
Prep: 2026 graduate of Bayfield High School… Coached by Joshua Walton… Was the 3A State Champion in the 100 meters with a PR time of 10.74… Also set the Wolverines’ school record in the 200 with a time of 21.88 at the Montrose Invitational… Placed third in that event at the state meet… Also helped set the Wolverines’ record in the 4x200-meter relay… Was named as the Intermountain League Athlete of the Year… Was also a state qualifier in 2024 and 2025.
Personal: Is majoring in fire science… Plans to go for two more years as a business major… Son of Meliss and Arthur Casillas… Has a younger brother— Colton… Loves to run, workout, play a variety of sports like track, football, soccer and pickleball, volleyball and pretty much anything that’s active.
Why I Chose CMU: “Because of the great track program, it is affordable and close to home.”
