2026 Outdoor (Freshman): Sprinted in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Posted season-best times in both the 100 and 200 at the conference meet… Finished 12^th in the 200 in 21.83 (+3.1) seconds and 18^th in the 100 with a time of 10.80 seconds… Also helped the Mavs place fifth in the 4x400-meter relay at the RMAC Championships with a time of 3:15.75, third quickest in CMU history.

2025-26 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Finished 14^th in the 200 meters at the conference meet with a time of 22.41 seconds, just off his season-best of 22.30 at the Last Chance RMAC Qualifier, where he finished second… Also had a season-best time of 7.07 at the Last Chance RMAC Qualifier… Ran on the Mavs’ 4x400-meter relay team at the Don Kirby Invitational, which posted a time of 3:20.37, fifth fastest in program history.

2024-25 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons… Competed unattached at the Maverick Invitational, posting times of 11.39 and 22.70 seconds in the 100 and 200 meters.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Montrose High School… Rank for Coach Joseph Fazzler and the Redhawks… Qualified for the 4A State Championships in the 200 meters as both a junior and senior, placing fifth in 2023 as a junior… Had a PR time of 21.89… Also won the Southwestern League title in that season before taking second in the 200 and third in the 100 as a senior in 2024… Had a wind-aided 100 PR time of 11.08 during his senior year… Set a 400 PR of 50.33 at the Adidas Track Nationals in the summer of 20024 after placing eighth in that event at the Great Southwest Track & Field Classic.

Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology… Wants to become a physical trainer… Son of Abby Boston and Leon Leiba… Has a younger sister named Maliah.

Why I Chose CMU: “They have a really good sports medicine program.”
