As a Redshirt Junior (2022-23): Went 6-12 in singles and a team-best 10-9 in doubles… Earned Third Team All-PacWest honors in doubles alongside partner Jandre Van Wyk… Was 5-6 with Van Wyk… Also had a 5-3 record with William Leschig… Went 8-7 in doubles during duals, posting a 7-6 record in the top flight… Played in the No. 1 spot of the singles lineups throughout the season… Went 3-10 in that flight after going 3-2 in fall individual tournaments… Named to the Academic All-PacWest team for the second straight year… Also named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second straight year.

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2021-22): Posted a 4-8 singles record and 3-10 doubles record after missing the entire fall and early portion of the spring due to injury… Was 3-5 at No. 4 singles and 1-3 at No. 5 singles… Played with Christian Albrechtsen in doubles, going 2-10 in the top flight and 1-0 at No. 2.... Named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete... Selected to the Academic All-PacWest Team.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2021): Recorded 15 total victories, going 8-9 in doubles and 7-9 in singles… Was an even 8-8 at No. 1 doubles with partner Christian Albrechtsen… Also played a No. 3 doubles match with Chapin Schott… Played mostly at No. 3 singles, going 6-8… Also made one start each at No. 2 and 4 singles.

As a Freshman (2019-20): Finished his debut campaign with an 8-7 singles mark and an identical 8-7 doubles mark with partner Steven Howe... Was tied for the team lead in doubles wins with Howe and two others... Was second behind Howe in singles wins and total wins (16)... Went 5-6 in dual play in singles... Posted a 4-0 record at the No. 4 spot and a 1-6 mark at No. 3... Also went 3-1 in tournaments... Went 6-5 in duals and 2-2 in tournaments in doubles... The duo played at the No. 2 spot.

Prep: Graduated from Arapahoe High School in 2019… Played for the Warriors and coach Peter Weheyrich… Was a 4-year varsity player... Played at No. 1 singles for three years and finished third at state as a senior... Was a homecoming prince...

Personal: Is majoring in business management... Son of Scott and Lauren Landen… Has three siblings (Emma, Trevor, Carter)… Enjoys hiking, camping and playing tennis... Also enjoys going out on the weekends and hanging out with the team."

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I really enjoyed the campus and the people when I visited here.  I also wanted to stay in state. Coach Dan (MacDonald) also offered me a scholarship to come play tennis here so that made the decision even easier. I also loved doing things outdoors and Grand Junction has lots to offer in that area."
