2024-25 (As a Senior): Redshirt season... Named to the Academic All-PacWest Team... Received an ITA Scholar-Athlete Award.

2023-24 (As a Junior): Posted a 1-2 singles record in his official matches, winning his lone dual decision against Whitman… Also had two other unfinished singles matches… Went 1-1 in doubles play with partner Axel Scholl at the CC Invitational at the start of the season… Received the ITA Scholar-Athlete Award… Also named to the Academic All-Pac West Team.

Before CMU: Played for two years at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska… Was an Honorable Mention All-Great Plains Athletic Conference doubles selection as a sophomore… Was a 2-time recipient of the NAIA Scholar-Athlete award… Posted a 4.0 GPA in all four semesters… Was 3-0 at No. 2 singles as a freshman.

Prep: 2021 graduate of Cherokee Trail High School… Was a 2-time team MVP… Was the Cougars’ team captain… Advanced to the quarterfinals of the 5A State tournament as a senior… Was on the honor roll during all eight semesters of his high school career… Was a National Honor Society member… Earned department awards in history and trigonometry and earned the seal of biliteracy for Spanish.

Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology and biology… Aspires to become a physician’s assistant with the intent of becoming a physician later on in life… Son of Shawn and Stephanie Springer… Enjoys longboarding, drawing and painting, going hiking and biking, being outdoors, going to concerts… Also loves to go to the gym in his free time.
