As a Redshirt Junior (2021-22): Finished the season with 7-10 singles and 6-8 doubles records… Missed a month of the spring season due to injury… Was 5-6 in singles during team duals, playing in the No. 2, 3 and 4 spots… Was 2-0 at No. 3 and 3-1 at No. 4, but went 0-5 at No. 2… Played doubles alongside Christian Albrechtsen, going 5-7 overall, including a 3-4 mark at No. 1… Also won a No. 3 doubles match with Jorge Abreu on his Senior Day against Colorado College… Named to the Academic All-PacWest team for the second straight season.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2021): Went 9-6 in singles play and 6-11 in doubles action… Was 3-1 at No. 3 singles and 6-5 at No. 4… Went 4-3 in his final ten matches while all three of his PacWest Tournament matches went unfinished… Played all but two of his completed doubles matches at No. 3, going 5-10 in that flight… Was 1-1 at No. 2… Went 6-9 with Thiago Nejm… Also played two matches with Champion Schott… Named to the Academic All-PacWest squad.
As a Sophomore (2019-20): Posted 5-7 singles and 3-8 doubles records throughout the year... Was 1-5 in duals and 4-2 in tournaments in singles play... Played in the No. 3, 4 and 5 spots in team matches... Partnered with three different teammates in doubles play... Played primarily with Alain De La Bastide, posting a 3-6 overall and 2-4 dual record with his fellow South American... The duo played at the No. 1 position... Also played one match each with Thiago Nejm and Jandre van Wyk in the No. 3 spot.
As a Freshman (2018-19): Immediately jumped into the staring lineup, playing mostly at No. 2 singles and in a variety of doubles positions... Went 2-20 overall and 1-16 in dual meets in singles... Played 12 of those 17 matches at No. 2, going 1-11... Played with four different doubles partners, combining for a 4-18 record... Was 2-14 in duals, going 1-7 at the No. 1 position with William Agritelley... Also played seven matches at No. 3, going 1-5 with fellow freshman Christian Albrechtsen, who his primary partner in the latter portions of the season.
Prep: Was coached by Johnny Perez at Sagrado Corazon.
Personal: Is majoring in biology and aspires to have a career in laboratory research on diseases and the oncology field... Son of Carlos Cure... Sister's name is Daniela... Enjoys fishing and scuba diving.
