2023-24 (As a Redshirt Senior): Posted a 10-12 singles record, including an 8-8 record in duals… Was 7-8 at No. 6 and won his lone No. 5 decision… Went 7-18 in doubles, posting a 6-16 dual meet record… Played with four different partners, beginning and ending the spring season with Diogo Manzano as his partner… Went 3-8 with Manzano… Played with Emil Hultman in the limited fall season and with William Leschig for much of the middle of the spring, posting a 3-6 record with him… Went 1-3 with Hultman… Had one doubles match alongside Axel Scholl… Received Academic All-Pac West honors for the third straight year.

2022-23 (As a Redshirt Junior): Was tied for the team lead with 20 total wins, posting an 11-12 singles record and 9-11 doubles mark… Played in the No. 1-4 spots of the singles lineup, posting a 9-10 dual meet mark… Went 6-3 in the top half, going 1-1 at No. 1, 2-1 at No. 2 and 3-1 at No. 3… Was 3-7 at No. 4 singles… Played with five different doubles partners, appearing mostly with Emil Hultman and Tegan Harman in the spring… Was 6-5 with Hartman and 2-4 with Hultman… Was 9-8 in doubles play during team duals… Had a winning 8-7 record at No. 3… Named as the PacWest Player of the Week of the Feb. 14 after staring out the spring with an 8-0 overall record… Named to the Academic All-PacWest squad for the second straight year… Also named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second straight year… Selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team.

2021-22 (As a Redshirt Sophomore): Claimed 18 total victories, going 10-13 in singles play and 8-12 in doubles action… Was second on the team for singles victories and tied for third for doubles triumphs… Posted a 9-11 dual record in singles, playing mostly at the No. 3 position (4-9)… Also went 3-1 at No. 2 and 2-1 at No. 4… Went 7-9 in doubles during team duals… Was 2-5 at No. 2 alongside partner Steven Howe… Had a winning 5-4 record at No. 3 doubles, playing mostly with freshman Tegan Hartman… Also won one match with Moises Cure on Cure’s Senior Day… Named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete and to the Academic All-PacWest squad.

Before CMU: Attended Collin College in McKinney, Texas… Played for the Cougars in 2020-21... Had attended and played at Laredo Community College in Laredo, Texas during the 2019-20 season, cut short by COVID.

Prep: Attended Preparatoria Abierta.

Personal: Is majoring in finance… Parents are Jorge and Marisol… Has a brother— Mauricio… Expects to have a good education and to succeed in his professional life in the finance field.

Why I Chose CMU: “I enrolled in CMU because I was searching for a college with a good tennis team and great education so I keep practicing the sport that I love and prepare for the future.  I also really enjoy outdoor activities.”
