2024: Earned Second Team D2CCA All-South Central Region and First Team All-RMAC honors as a central defender… Selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District squad for the second straight year… Also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season… Started all 20 matches… Helped the Mas record ten shutouts while conceding just 18 total goals… Led the Mavericks with 1,819 minutes played… Scored the first and game-winning goal in a 3-0win over Western Colorado on Oct. 20… Had an assist in the Oct. 13 win at MSU Denver… Took eight shots, four of which were on goal.
2023: USC All-Region First Team... RMAC Second Team All-Conference... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... CSC Academic All-District... Played in and started 22 matches... Recorded an assist in the RMAC Tournament Championship match at the Colorado School of Mines while earning RMAC All-Tournament Team honors... Took 11 shots, including four on goal throughout the season... Helped the Mavs post 12 shutouts while winning the RMAC Tournament and advancing to the South Central Regional final.
2022: RMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention... Played in all 19 matches, starting the final 18 games as a true freshman... Named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 11, becoming the first Maverick in 10 years to win the award... Anchored defense that allowed 21 goals in 19 matches, 1.11 per game... First collegiate point was an assist against Nebraska-Kearney on Sep. 2... Scored first collegiate goal against Fort Lewis on Oct. 7, the game-winning effort in a 2-0 win... Played all 90 minutes in 11 matches, including in her first collegiate start against Western Oregon on Aug. 28 and in six consecutive matches from Sep. 30-Oct. 16.
High School: Played for Corona del Sol HS and Coach Bob Smith... Was named a Tempe All-City athlete in 2019 and 2020... Arizona 6A Central First Team All-Region in 2020 and 2021.
Club: Played for Phoenix Rising ECNL and Coach Paul Taylor... National Showcase Cup Champions in 2019.
Personal: Daughter of David and Kathy Wachtel... Has two brothers, Jack and Tommy... Majoring in business management and wants to work in project management or consulting...
