2024-25 (As a Junior):
Dove in 12 meets, including the RMAC Championships and the NCAA Pre-Championship Qualification Meet… Shared RMAC Championship Co-Diver of the Meet honors with teammate Ryan Campbell after winning the 1-meter title while taking third on the 3-meter board at the RMAC Championships… Contributed 36 team points to CMU’s seventh straight conference championship… Scored a career-best 574.70 points to win the 1-meter title and earn First Team All-RMAC honors… Scored a career-best 569.45 points on the 3-meter board in the preliminary round of the RMAC meet before going on to claim the bronze medal and Second Team All-RMAC honors with a final round score of 524.85 points… Had season-best 6-dive scores of 337.05 (1m) and 333.10 (3m) at the CMU Last Chance Meet… Finished 20th on the 3-meter (221.40) and 23rd on the 1-meter (216.25) at the NCAA Pre-Championship Qualification Meet… Was tabbed as the RMAC Diver of the Week twice during the month of January at the end of the regular season… Won the Jan. 15 award after winning the 1-meter event while taking second on the 3-meter event at the Jan. 10 dual at Utah… Also won the Jan. 29 award following third (1m) and fourth (3m) place finishes in the Air Force & BYU Tri-Dual… Was tabbed as a Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll and helped the Mavs win the RMAC Brechler Award for having the highest team GPA in the conference.

2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Dove in three meets before missing the rest of the season due to injury… Finished second on the 3-meter (544.60) and third on the 1-meter (510.30) at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Had a season-best 6-dive total of 256.40 points on the 1-meter at the Intermountain Shootout.

2022-23 (As a Freshman): Dove in ten meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned pair of Second Team CSCAA All-America honors after finishing ninth on the 1-meter and tenth on the 3-meter at the NCAA Division II National Championships… Turned in 11-dive scores of 449.30 (1m) and 451.25 (3m) to do so… Had posted season-best scores of 548.75 (3m) and 478.15 (1m) as an exhibition diver at the RMAC Championships before setting a season-best 6-dive score of 341.20 on the 3-meter a week later at the Maverick Chance Qualifier, securing a trip to the national championship site… Placed 12th on the 3-meter at the NCAA Pre-Championship qualifier to secure an official spot in the national championships… Had a season-best 6-dive score of 259.10 on the 1-meter during the Jan. 7 dual at Utah... Named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: Won both the 2021 and 2022 North Dakota state title on the 1-meter board as an upperclassman with the Mandan HS Braves… Coached by Claudia Schoelkopf... Won the Western Dakota Association title in both years as well… Had placed second at the state championships as a sophomore in 2020… Had 1-meter personal bests of 504.85 (11 dives) and 265.00 (6 dives).
 
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Wants to become a chiropractor... Son of Jess and Jessica Hermanson... Has four siblings-- Dylan, Rylee, Rayce and Trystal.
