Biography
Before CMU: Competed for two years at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri… Placed seventh in the 500 free and eighth in the 200 fly at the 2019 New South Intercollegiate Swimming Conference Championships as a freshman… Also placed 12th in the 100 fly and 200 back that year… Won the 400 IM against Missouri-St. Louis as a sophomore… Placed tenth in the 100 breast and 14th in the 200 fly at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships as a sophomore in 2020.
Prep: 2018 graduate of Eaglecrest High School… Coached by Scott Cohen… Won both the 100 fly and 200 IM league title as a senior… Received the Hoyt Brawner Award… Holds every school record for his co-op high school program… Won the 100 back title as a sophomore.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Son of Sayun and Lorenzo Phillips… Has two siblings (Jadyn, Chae)… Would like to become a swim coach… Enjoys socializing, playing video games and adventures.
