As a Senior (2021-22): Dove in 11 meets, to lead all Maverick men in participation… Earned honors at both the NCAA Division II and RMAC Championships and throughout the season… Earned a pair of CSCAA All-America honors with his efforts at the national meet… Finished eighth on the 3-meter to earn first team plaudits after placing 12
th in the 1-meter preliminaries… Had earned bronze medals and Second Team All-RMAC honors in both events at the RMAC Championships… Had set career-best 11-dive scores of 503.25 (3m) and 502.90 (1m) in the preliminary rounds as the top qualifier… Had been named as the RMAC Diver of the Week a league-high five times this season… Set season-best 6-dive marks of 291.23 (1m) and 305.10 (3m) at the Air Force Quad… Won seven events throughout the season… Named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American and to the RMAC All-Academic First Team.
As a Junior (2020-21): Competed in a team-leading eight meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned a pair of CSCAA First Team All-America honors with fifth and seventh place finishes on the 1 and 3-meter boards at the national meet in Birmingham, Alabama, significantly contributing to the Mavs’ 11
th place team finish… Scored a season-high 465.05 points on the 1-meter and another season-best 479.00 on the 3-meter… Had earned a pair of Second Team All-RMAC honors with his performances as the conference meet… Scored 467.00 points on the 3-meter to finish third while scoring 453.60 points on the 1-meter to finish fourth… Won the 1-meter event on both days of the Air Force Dual Meet Invite (Jan. 8 and 9) en-route to earning RMAC Diver of the Week honors on Jan. 12… Named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America First Team and to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Sophomore (2019-20): Competed in eight meets, including the RMAC Championships and NCAA Pre-Championship qualifier… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors on the 1-meter diving board, placing fourth at the conference championships… Scored a season-best 457.40 points to do so… Finished fifth in the 3-meter competition with 464.80 points… Had a season-best score of 473.70 points at the A3 Performance Invitational… Finished 15
th on the 3-meter and 26
th on the 1-meter at the NCAA Pre-Championship qualification meet… Had season-best 6-dive scores of 250.15 (1m) and 268.35 (3m)… Named as a CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American... Also selected to RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman (2018-19): Competed in four meets, including the RMAC Championships and the NCAA Division II Championship Pre-Qualifier... Took fifth on the 1-meter and sixth on the 3-meter at the conference meet... Finished 17th on the 3-meter and 19th on the 1-meter at the national pre-qualifier... Scored a season-high 450.80 points on 11 3-meter dives in a RMAC time trial to earn a spot in the pre-qualifier... Had a season-best score of 430.75 on the 1-meter at the RMAC meet.
Prep: Placed second on the 1-meter board at the 2018 Alaska High School State Championships while diving for the Colony High School Knights... Was coached by Wendy DiGerlando... Placed fifth as a junior in 2016... Also earned a regional title and three second place regional finishes.
Club: Also competed for DiGerlando and the Wasilla Mat-su Diving.
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice and aspires to have a career in counter terrorism... Son of Adam and Leilani Belliston... Is the second oldest of six children... Enjoys snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking and fishing.
