Biography
As a Freshman (2017-18): Competed in six meets posting season-best freestyle times of 49.82 (100), 1:45.33 (200), 4:36.88 (500), 9:35.74 (1000), and 16:07.09 (1650)... Finished fourth in both the 1000 and 1650 free with those altitude-adjusted times at the A3 Performance Invite.
Prep: Graduated from Westview High School in 2017 as the Wolverines' record holder in the 200 free (1:43.80), set in the preliminaries of the 2017 CIF Central Section Championships... Went on to finish fifth in that event... Also took seventh in the 500 free... Named as the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Male Swimmer of the Year.
Club: Was a 4-event finalist at the SI Winter Age Group Championships in December, 2016 while representing, placing second in the 1000 free... Was eighth in the Western Senior Zones Championships in the 1500 free... Has best times of 4:39.51 (500 free), 9:47.15 (1000 free) and 16:06.09 (1650 free).
Personal: Is majoring in computer science with aspirations of becoming a software or video game developer.
